SG Doc on Atkins Diet
Hi guys
As promised (a bit late but better than never), here's the doctor that was featured in Sunday Times' Hot Bods section on 2 Jan...
Anyway, I can't attach the pix here in the office, will do it when I get home...
Ivan Chan, 44
General Practitioner
Height: 1.68m
Weight: 50kg
Exercise regimen: I train less than I used to since starting a low-carb diet. I go to the gym once a week to maintain muscle mass, and also jog once or twice a week to keep my bones strong and to increase my cardiovascular fitness.
Diet: I'm on the Atkins diet so lay off carbohydrates and pile on the protein. I avoid rice, bread and potatoes, but eat protein-laded foods (sic) like vegetables, fish and eggs in generous portions. I also try to avoid sugar in my diet.
Not sure if this is the correct Ivan Chan, but I found an entry in LinkedIn

Gonna definitely look him up for any future consultations.
Problem is, I haven't been sick for 2 years since I started this lifestyle...
