Roast suckling pig
Hey X, the idea is really tempting, where you going to get yours? I'm looking to find one raw,
And I roast it myself in my oven or well, cooked would save me the stress and hassle.
I'm going to do roast pork for sure.

I think almost every major supermarket chain has an offer for CNY...
The cheapest is from Sheng Siong at S$48 and the most expensive is Shop & Save I think at S$58
I used to get my roast suckling pigs from Yan Chuan Roasters - they are still around at Eunos
If you want to get it raw, you can try them
I will probably just get a pre-cooked one and then re-heat it up in my broiler (confirm can get crackling skin)...

Re: Roast suckling pig
Not bad - usual suckling pig with nice crispy (crackling) skin...hahah
Of course, we must make our own sambal for dipping...hahah
And no dipping into the sweet black sauce
I think you mean "mui chai" right? hahah
The typical teo chew preserved veggie

Re: Roast suckling pig
Damn it, this roast pig talk is making me hungry earlier than usual!
It's only 4.15pm, still a few more hours before I eat. Now getting difficult to get the flavour out of my mind...

Yup, just a simple 5-spice rub and roast it in my broiler...hahah
Usually do my roast chicken the same way or vary it with tumeric/chili powder...
Duck is too big to go inside my broiler unfortunately

Now I still have a job, I'll just keep at it, when it's no longer available, he. I'll
Use this option as a means. Investors, I won't want, as people will see profit margin
No good, make noise, good will also keep pressing and adding pressure to make more money.
My mind for business will be only to make enough to cover rent and extra for myself, not into
Making huge profits and being filthy rich. So that will be one major conflict. Money also will end up
To be, friends as enemies, and I don't need that to happen either. You're not the first one to ask me
To do that. For me, it's the passion, and money can't buy passion.
I'm buying another espresso machine also, my wife ok it, it's a full manual machine, and you have to be
Very experienced to use it to it's full capacity, totally manual. Again, it's the passion, when I no more working, retired or whatever, then will I start my small cafe. Remember to come and makan Paleo or normal, ut coffee, die die will be for both lifestyles. Btw, I also roast and sell coffee beans if interested. Kekekekeke.....
